Plastic hangers are a type of hanger commonly used in the garment industry, especially export garments. Plastic hangers have a body completely made from plastic, usually in black or dark tones, and a carefully machined metal hook head. However, in some cases, due to improper use and storage, the hook head will rust, affecting the quality of the hanger. Therefore, ATT Vietnam Investment and Technology Joint Stock Company sends customers the following notes when using hangers:
1. Do not hold the metal hook directly without wearing gloves, because if your hands have sweat once you hold the metal hook directly, it is easy to cause the metal hook to rust or oxidation. We recommend that you must wear gloves.
2. At the ironing process, if you use steam ironing method, you should take protection method for metal hook area to prevent the steam during iron sticking to the metal hook, it caused to metal hook easy to rust or oxidation. We recommend you should use old hanger to hang clothes when iron.
3. Do not use rusty steel pin for hang hanger, if the steel pin is rusty when you move hanger it will make the plating layer of metal hook peel off cause to the metal hook easy red rust or significant oxidation.
4. To prevent the metal hook from rusting or oxidation. We recommend that you should storage hanger in 60~70% relative humidity environment, and the cover of all unused or half used hanger cartons should be closed.
